| So, I was talking with some other people about Element 115 and how it "changes" you, and that made me think about the perks and how they could contain some 115. I mean I don't think you could just go around a buy speed cola (how cool would that be?) but maybe they were part of all the tests that were being conducted. I mean they do "change" you (give you more health, speed, etc.). Its the only reason I can think of that can explain in universe why treyarch add the perks. Of course they could have just put them in for fun... So theres my theory, any thoughts? |

| Hmmm. I wonder if you can have a 115 overdose then and see things in a different way. That would be insane if trey did something like that. Good theory with the perks. Very original. Keep up the good posts! |

| stupid idea but could you imagine you shoot the perk machine with the waffel and it supercharges the perk when you drink it. now that would be awsome! |

| I think they are to never be explained, some "magic" thing. just the box, there is no logical explanation for it. what if the workers at der riese made them, and used them for parties? "girl, im gonna use my speed cola on you all night!" |

| im thinking that, like mercury, 115 changes your form,your skin and ou in general. it pass's to other by contact,thats why there is so many. ps. cool story bro! |

| these perks were invented to deal with the army of undead that they had created. chances are that they thought if they fight 115 with, 115 then the troops would have a chance. thus giving us super perks. |

| Now this is a very good theory. I never thought of it like this before. The perk-a-colas are not your conventional power-ups because of the way they are actually ingrained into the maps design. This could definately be a semi-logical reason for the perks. Great post |

| Yes now that I think of it it does seem to me like that there is some element 115 in the perk-a-colas. I mean you can be strong in half a second after drinking Juggernog without it having some sort of substtance in it. |

| If this is true then dammit Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo & Richtofen aren't going to live very long, put drinking dangerous chemicals on top of teleporting and you've got yourself a recipe for disaster right there!

| When you look at the perk machines, they have prices on them. For example I think juggernog is 10c. This made me to believe that either they are for the workers in case a zombie threat comes up, but they don't know that they contain 115 and are just trained to use them. Or its the scientists gifts to the workers which could lead to some the earlier scenarios that were posted and Dempsey and crew just found inovative ways to use them as defense against the freakbags.. Again just my thoughts |
