on the map 'Little Resistance' there is a glitch that in my opinion was deliberately put in the game.[check it our on youtube]so after you call in the rocket strike you jump in some puddles[the video will show you the ones]and after you jump in the last puddle wait a sec these little statues rise up out of the ground and you hear what appears to be alien voices. then you just walk up to the statues and get the raygun. Also a theory on how the japs got invovled(or at least Takeo). since the misson takes place on a japanese inhabited island maybe while they were building fortifcations they stumbled apon the wierd statues too.

Or, Trey put them there so developers didn't have to use the dev kit and could test easier.

I doubt it. Treyarch are the developers, what would be the point in testing without a dev kit anyway? It would make it extremely hard to re-pro and debug glitches etc.........I think that its just an amazing, fun easter egg.

I can't fully recall, but i believe it has been said that it is indeed a fun easter egg. to me it seems a little to complex to be a glitch especially one they didn't notice.
i believe that it may be a foreshadowing easter egg for the origin of the ray gun and the "alien" meteor and all that, which is all found in the "zombies story line" Anyone that hasn't read it yet, you should because it is a good read

The voice is speaking in Japanese i think but I don't know what it says......mabey we could get someone to translate? If the japs found the ray gun, don't you think that they would have uses it? My theory is that the ray gun is human (probably American) made using either nuclear power or alien technology. I have close up photos of the ray gun that prove it was made by humans.

i've tried this a ton of times..... and doubt its Japanese, the voice, but yeah......they must have put those in on purpose.....and probably does have something to do with the zombie storyline.......idk
