I would like to know if anyone is aware of this shady tactic.

Two people on opposing teams (usually pre-planned, someone would join a session with their friend in a game like Domination and hope they are on different teams and go to a pre-determined spot in a secluded part of the map ) and one person would keep planting Tactical Insertions while he is getting killed and the cycle repeats itself until the Killer kills the Victim ( dude with tactical insertion) 25 times and calls in a Nuke.

I do play Domination alot and I usually see it happening in maps like Derail, Sub Base, Estate, Wasteland, and Rundown. Also sometimes on Terminal , Quarry, and Skidrow. THATS HALF THE MAPS!

Iti s pretty annoying to be kicking a$$ in Domination or Free-for-All and then hear " Enemy Nuke Incoming" Even when the nuke is called in by your own team mate you still feel cheated.

The best way to stop it is to check the scoreboard. If you see someone on the other team who is 17-0 and someone on your team is 0-17. STOP THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!

You can also tell if someone is chaeting for nukes if
1. You see a green arrow (your teamate) staying in a secluded part of the map. Also if they keep spawning at the same part of the map every few seconds.
2. If you look at the kill-log and it keeps showing every few seconds xx_John_xx (head shot symbol) xXx-Bob69-xXx
3. Use Sit Rep to spot if a tactical insertion keeps going away gets planted every few seconds.

I havent played MW2 in a while and have just started to get on there again and have noticed this a lot.

I actually think its fun to hunt them down and deny them there nuke but agree it can be very frustrating!!

Look, boosting is like drinking beer. It's okey to do every once in a while, but you don't want to do it too much. Sometimes you just need a pickmeup. Ofcoarse the only this worse to a booster than a hunter is other boosters. If you find that someone else it in your secret hidey-hole, then you screwed. Thought you might want to know this.

It is fun to hunt them down but most of the time I over look it. What kind of makes me mad is I got all 12 of my nukes legit, but when I put that nuke symbol emblem up when I managed to get 10 most people accuse me of cheating for it.

hah, 13 u noob lol jk but yeah, i tried nuke boosting w/ my friend (for hime, he was bored), it's hard in FFA, if you get found after you have 5 kills, you can't get it. I've never managed to get one boosting lol, i always got all kills with chopper, or get found. So i stopped trying. w/ no nukes then I found the ACR and the Intervention

the man is a legend. I hate boosters, I can't get a nuke by playing normally, but you know what? I deal with it. f***tards

I'm still convinced that the nuke was a terrible feature for the COD games. People should indeed be rewarded for getting high streaks but something that ends the game? That just sucks, especially with blatant cheaters. Hunt 'em down guys!

Adding the Nuke was a bit OTT imo.

I'm not complaining at all about the nuke. But I think it is overpowered. I think maybe it could kill all of the enemies on the map, not end the game.

that would be extremly pointless as a 25 kill streak..... anyone should be able to kill all the enemies before getting a ten kill streak.

Alright, time for me to make ammends. TIME TO GO BOOSTER HUNTING! From a (former) booster, if your going booster hunting, I'd look for them in Free-for-all games. I know the best camping spots for boosters to hide, but I'm not ready to reveile ALL my secrets yet.

But you should, make pics of each map with the best camping spots.

The best way to booster hunt in FFA is to specate in the beginning. Look at each person's set up, if they are using silenced weapons, cold blood and tact insertions they are probably boosting. You can stay spectate to see where they are going or just join and hunt them done. you can use almost anything but coldblooded is a must due to all the air support they will be calling in. Another perk to use is SitRep since it will let you see their TI through the walls or plants.

That's evil.... BTW, still working on the maps to show you. FOR BOOSTER HUNTING EYES ONLY!
