I have a question..do you..get to keep the special rank/color?
Or is it like just for a month you get to look cool..xP

It will be for that month only. After that month is over, the person will be removed from the Usergroup and their name color and rank will be reset to the way it's supposed to be. The only time you will ever have your name color and rank changed again as result of this is if you get voted the User of the Month again.

Cause I think that would be kind of dumb..

if you are in a user group you cannot participate, if you were a VIP, you have to PM me and I can remove it, i don't know every single person that was a VIP, and I have to do it manually.

Anyone who is already in a Usergroup is not eligible for this award for obvious reasons. For one, we are doing this for the communities benefit, not for our own benefit. Secondly, it would clash with the ranks and name coloring that we already have.

Im am liking it because now they know that if you want to be user of the month you got to try to be a ro-model for other new people on this site. Good Job Covert and Carbon.

You won't loose anything. If you win, once your time is up, you will return to whatever rank you were based on your posts, whether it be the same rank or a higher one.

That's exactly right. Eventually we'd have to stop the User of the Month Award because we would run out of colors to choose from. Another thing would also be that we would have to have multiple Usergroups which would make it even more confusing because they would all be for the same thing.

I also want to make it clear that you are allowed to nominate yourself. I will also be allowing multiple nominations if there are several people you would like to nominate but you just can't pick. Just make sure not to go overboard with the nominations. If I see too many nominations from one person they will be talked to and required to pick only several people.

I think a somewhat cool thing you could add is..if like someone gets User of the Month..
Like have a like..err..like what employee of the month have they have their pictures up somewhere saying they were User of the Month this month and someone else that month.. you know?

I like this idea it'll be a laugh to see who gets it.

But I just gotta know why did all the mods develop a Boxxy obsession. Though I must admit the Internet Civil War was pretty hilarious, people planning to lynch some poor girl because she appeared to much.

Back on topic though there should probably be a counter in every ones profile along with the brains ect. Not like the numbers will get very high but all the same.

For right now, I have several submissions for this month's User of the Month so once we all decide on one they will become the User of the Month for the rest of September. Towards the end of September I will start this up again and be collecting nominations for October's User of the Month. That way we will have one chosen before October starts.
