Well, since they announced the MW2 Special Edition Xbox it looks pretty nice and I was wondering that since I have two xbox's (one working and one not), 3 controllers, and 2 hard drives, if I would be able to trade in all that and only have to pay a little amount for it. Well do any of you know how much I could get for an Xbox 360 Arcade in pristine condition, 2 white Xbox 360 controllers and 1 Black one, a 20 GB Xbox 360 hard drive and a 120 GB Elite Xbox 360 Hard Drive and I wanted to know that if you trade in a console and tell them it is broken do they check to see if you've opened it?
So can anyone give me an estimate on that?

Honestly, it has been my experience that gamestop is a bit of a rip. When they first started out with the whole used game thing they wernt so bad. They actually helped out some of the less fortunate gamers by re-selling the used games and equipment at low prices.

If you look at them now they have all but baztardized the concept. My last experience with them was taking a stack of 5 or so games to lessen the impact of the newley released Mercenaries title. Having paid an average of $50/game figured I would be fairly compensated and get a good price. By the time I left the store I was livid. The crooks gave me @ $2/per game and I have regretted it ever since.

As my WaW disk is cracked I have recently taken the time to check them out. They want $54 for a used copy of WaW!!!! Assumeing some poor kid got ripped for a paultry $2 for that title, they now stand to make a sizable profit. Thats what its all about to them anymore, they will not care that you have taken care of you stuff, they will give you a pittance for your stuff and turn it into thier personal gain.

I agree. Gamestop rips you off majorly. Go with craigslist or something/

I traded in about 15 original Xbox/PS2 games to them for about.... say,18 dollars? Total rip-off. Didn't even cover half the game I bought with the money they gave me. *shakes fist at gamestop* and that was with their special "member card" or whatever the hell they have. DO NOT go to them to trade in used games. Hell, amazon is better for new AND used games, unless you want the special default M1A1 class or whatever they come up with. Gamestop=

I traded an xbox elite, 2 controllers, 2 extra batteries, gta4, gears of war, and a chatpad kit and got... are you ready...?? $85. Needless to say, that was the LAST time I ever went there. DO NOT GO TO GAMESTOP FOR ANYTHING.

i was gonna sell my ps2. when i found out i'd only get $30 i changed my mind. you should just sell it to a friend who wouldn't rip u off like Gamestop does
