Which OS do you have?

This is a thread to see which operating system everybody here has. I have windows vista because I like it and dont really care what everyone else says about it. Lets hear what you have.

I'm running on Windows Vista, and honestly it sucks ass. That might just be because I upgraded from Windows XP and for some incredibly stupid reason some things weren't compatible. So in turn things get screwed up, such as internet explorer. I always get random pop ups and messaged from internet explorer and I never have it open because it causes problems. So yeah, stupid Windows Vista.

(If anyone can help with is, it would be very appreciated.)

I know when I upgraded to IE 8 everytime I would exit out of IE it would say "Internet Explorer has stopped working". But then the computer crashed and after it got fixed it stopped saying that. Have you tried re-installing internet explorer? Maybe that could help.

I've tried lots of different things with internet explorer. I've tried installing internet explorer 8 and it doesn't even let me do that. I've tried uninstalling internet explorer 7 but it won't let me do that either.

I haven't used my Mac for long but I'm really starting to like it a lot. Only reason why I like XP is because it is probably the best of the Windows OS out there. Also have Windows 2003 loaded on my XP machine and use it time and again. And ofcourse I have Linux to play around with every once in a while.

Have you tried installing any other browsers like Firefox? I personally like to use Firefox .... really neat and handy.

Yeah, I've got Firefox, but I just installed Opera and it works fantastically. It runs so much faster than Firefox and Internet Explorer.

But you see, the original problem was that even when I had another browser running and Internet Explorer wasn't running at all, I would still get pop ups and error messages from Internet Explorer.

Sounds like you have adware/spyware on your PC. Only time I've seen IE windows pop up on their own is when the PC is infected with adware. Have you tried running any tools to scan your PC?

Android....oh, wait. That's my phone. Just XP Premium right now. Lookin at gettin a laptop with Vista. Not sure which version I want though.

i had xp for ever its the best i have to say but then i moved up to vista and hated it but now i upgraded again to windows 7 beta and i have to say for a guy who hated with i love 7 i dunno why its just so up to date and it made really well my new favorite is windows 7 cant wait for the real version

oh but my laptop is still XP and my other older computer is 2000 i think
