Perhaps. But I think that Maxis could be inside of the Teddies and the Monkeys, and Sam might even have control over him.

if were talking spirits and ghost it's possible for one spirit to take control or leadership of another I've heard story's of stuff like that but ussally it's the more evil one and as far as we know sam did nothing wrong and is pure. maybe maxis and sam are fighting for control? that might explain the differences in the voices u hear when the box moves and when u get a power up

Yes of course. Though I suppose there is an outside possibility and as I explained above he does fit the bill best out of the four. But yeah very unlikely all the same.

i can actually see Nikolai being Maxis. But how does that match up to teh chracter Bios?
