Following on from Carbon's Map Pack 4 Prediction (thread located here;
https://codzombies.forumotion.net/map-pack-4-hopes-dreams-f16/carbon-s-map-pack-4-prediction-t897.htm) I have come up with my own ideas for a Nazi Zombies map set in Paris. This is only what I would personally like to see in the map and I think I have been reasonable with my ideas and not to over the top like some other ideas that I have read. Read & enjoy and if you disagree then what are your ideas?
MapI thought I'd note before I start that in this map after round one there are double the amount of zombies that normally appear. If this map ever came into existence it would be the hardest out of the four because the amont of the objectives and how easy it is to get overwhelmed even quicker.
Alot of people seem to believe that the map will feature the Eiffel Tower. I think this could work to an extent but do you have any idea how huge the Eiffel Tower actually is?! I have chosen only to include the bottom half of the tower and the rest of the map is underground. It is not unknown that Paris does feature many underground catacombs. One found recently had a Swastika painted on the roof so why can't some of these tunnels be utilised in a zombies Paris map? Just imagine the underground half of the map to have this kind of visual aesthetic:
Then when you emege under the Eiffel Tower it should have a very Der Riese feel with electricity and wires attached all over the place. I also think there should be a storm going on overhead with rain pouring down and thunder and lightning illuminating the night sky.
Here is my (very bad interpretation) of what I think the map would look like:
1. You start off having just been teleported to this new underground location. Like Der Riese though the teleporters are not linked so cannot be used just yet. Quick Revive is close by but not accesible without the power activated. The gun closest to you on the wall is a Mosin-Nagant and the one towards the locked door is an SVT-40.
2. In this room you have a Gewehr 43 on the wall next to the Double Tap. The Mystery Box is not in here, instead there is just a teddy bear sitting on a pile of books. The other weapon you can buy off the wall is Frag Grenades.
3. In here we have Teleporter-B followed by Juggernog (it's pink because I ran out of colours). On the wall is a new Wunderwaffe gun, the STG-45. It is similar to the 44 but holds alot more ammo and has more firepower. This gun was actually invented by the Nazis during WW2 but you'll have to look into that more yourself.
4. A long corridor featuring the Bowie Knife leads into the next room. The room has Speed Cola & Betties on the wall. The Mystery Box is in here as well.
5. Here we have Teleporter-C with an MP40 located on the wall.
6. Behind the power-locked door is a new surprise but an old idea, the Amm-o-Matic. This machine will cost 5,000 for normal ammo & 7,000 for upgraded ammo. The machine is sort of like a one armed bandit, you pull the lever on the side and it goes through every single weapon until it finds yours and ammo is distributed out the bottom.
Also notice how I put it in a long corridor downstairs surrounded by windows so it's not easy to get to.
7. Behind this power-locked door we have the stairs leading up to the base of the Eiffel Tower & main frame. Also on the wall just left of the stairs is a Thompson.
8. I should have really labeled this room as number 2... This is the power room. We have a teddy bear on a stack of books and a Double Barreled Shotgun on the wall.
9. This is the big one, a wide open space at the very base of the Eiffel Tower. Surrouding the area you can roam around in are sandbags and wire-mesh fences to prevent your escape. In the center is the mainframe and Pack-a-Punch machine. The machine has had a few changes made to it, underneath the normal Pack-a-Punch is now a Fireworks-a-Punch hole were you throw in your grenades, monkey bombs etc to make them more powerful. To the right of the Pack-a-Punch is also a new perk, Overkill Vodka. This allows you to hold three guns instead of two. Behind the Pack-a-Punch is the long awaited Type-99 which can be brought off the wall.
10. To the far right of the Overkill Vodka are some steps leading up one of the legs of the Eiffel Tower. This is very similar to the cat walk in Der Riese. Unfortunately it is alot harder to camp on here though because you can't just jump off because the fall is to far and will put you straight into last stand. Also the red indicating windows on this occasion is actually referring to sections that zombies can climb up and onto where you are. Fortunately there is a zipline from here, so if you ever do decide to camp and it gets to overcrowded you can pay 1500 to easily get back down to the bottom again. On this cat walk there is a new item, a Flak Jacket. This makes it easier for you to use Waffle Weapons on zombies up close because it hurts you alot less.
There are electric barriers on every single one of the locked doors. Also if you use the teleporters more than three times in a row the power will cut out and you will have to reconnect them all again, this does not mean all the doors close, they all stay open you just can't use any of the perks or the Pack-a-Punch or Teleporters. This will add to the challenge since I've noticed people saying that once you've connected all the teleporters, got all the perks and got the guns you want in Der Riese there is nothing left to do. There is alot more in this map idea.
StorylineObviously this would most likely be the ending of the Nazi Zombies story arc (for now) so the easter eggs within this map would have to reflect that.
It is a known fact that the Nazis did occupy Franch during WW2, whether this was because they wanted to use the Eiffel Tower as a Pack-a-Punch-mainframe we will never know for certain
. I think this map would reflect the sheer distance that the zombies have travelled and how much their prescence has grown, hence the fact that there are more zombies per-round. They are also, for the first time, not in an allied country which also demonstrates their wrath. These are also, I think, the last of the Nazi Zombies that need clearing up. They've stretched this far and it's time for the team to put these undead freakbags to sleep!
The team have teleported from Der Riese to a secret underground location in Paris. The only two remaining though are Richtofen & Nikolai. Takeo and Dempsey either teleported to a different area or were killed. It is never specified, that way we may see a return of those two in the future. Upon arriving in France the two find two other unlikely comrades, Françoise le Mortel a French soldier and Abendroth a Nazi soldier. The Nazi and the Frenchman had been put down into the catacombs and left to die in the most horrific ways possible. The four aim to escape from the catacombs fighting off the zombies.
WeaponsIn this map you should have access to all the weapons in the game (bar the obvious ones like gas grenades & stickies etc). You can get these from the Mystery Box or the ones that are avaliable off the wall. You can also Pack-a-Punch up to three times now to make your gun even stronger.
(I've got a little more to add to this and more to write about the characters which seem slightly undeveloped at the moment. I might change the maps a touch as well.)
