Rite i was listening to the 8th radio today and in it says something about ure books will be in ure lockers. Has anyone ever found some lockers on der riese. A field manual has been found on the ground, it talks about the ways to kill yourself is an outbreak occurs.

there's lockers in the room with the two green cylinders. its inside the window next to the first green cylinders. on the ground is one of the manuals. you cant get to them to i dont think there's a radio there.

I see those books everywhere in DR.
It is creepy =P

Have you noticed that most of the radios are in most large rooms (Including the outdoors), accept for the area were the Generator is. Maybe there is something there.

Also, in one of the interviews, they said we were a bit off track i think...(That's what i remember and i cant find that vid anymore) maybe in the trailer(s) or images that they have already given us there is a hint.

BTW: in NDU (First map) there is a radio near the box, and when you press x on it then it makes a sound, (I think otherwise it was shear co-incidence) like a turing on sound. yet i failed to find another radio... maybe there is another radio that you need to turn on (Like what we did on SNN (Third map))

Ohhh, the NDU radio plays songs if you press square (on playstation) near it.
I think it plays through a list of songs =)

it plays through the songs that are on the campaign.

Help on Finding the 8th radio

if you listen to the 8th radio, the sound at the start is wierd.
Some of the radios are quite big, square and a sort of dark blue or black. when you activate one of these, it makes a high pitched squek sound. like eeerrrreeee (lol)
The other type of radios are small, green and look a bit like a phone, the sound it makes when activated is a deeper pitch than the other style of radio.
The 8th radio makes the deeper pitched sound. so we know we are DEFINATLY looking for a small green phone

i agree with what ure saying. treyarch must be telling people some things. for example that disapearing brick in the thompson room. no one would of ever found that without some sort of clue from someone who knew it was there. rite ?

exactly, the only way i can see that being discovered is if someone went down right by it, and by holding x or square the brick moved whilst revieing.

i think if they have alot of things we havent found then they should give us a tiny hint, ie what room to look in or sumthing. and i have the PS3 sorry dude. RROD made my xbox die so bought a PS3 instead.

The 8th radio has been found in the game coding! =)
Theres a book just outside of the window (that's opposite the animal lab door).
If you lay down, you can see an open book through a hole in the sandbags.
This triggers a quote. This trigger is labbelled 'Radio_8'. =D
SO the book leads to the 8th radio! =)
Also, I think it ties in with the currently unknown 'Mythos_giant' trigger which can only be activated before round 5 with a 2% chance. =)

But how could a book play audio? lol

Good point >.< but i would think that aside from teleporting, wonder weapons, perk drinks, hell hounds and that whole endless horde of nazi zombie's trying to kill you business the game developers would want to keep a sense of realism in the game. I think they might have put it there so that just in case nobody ever found/was able to activate the eighth radio we would still be able to find out what was on it hence the 935 book.

In SNN, there's the book that screams at you.

I was the one who found the 8th radio file. I have never found it in the game. You guys can keep looking but i've given up.
