Well since i am new here ive probably missed out on alot but i have been reading most topics and trying to keep up but 5 question marks really dont come up. Tyler212 told me that they are locations of where u need the ptrs inorder to see the little pieces of paper. Emokins told me that there is no real definite answer yet but he believed that it was the five places where the zombies spawned. So i just wanted to know what other theories people had about these 5 question marks, i mean we see this map evey time we play Der Riese it is in some respects right infront of us and the first thing we ever see. Again if this has already been answerd i apologize in advance.

He says that they are just rooms of which are unlabeled. They have ? marks because the room has no title or things to write to fill up space.
I think they've got something to do with the writing on the walls everywhere, which has arrows and question marks...
So confusing =S

okay im sorry if i didnt see what he posted cause im new here, but let me get this straight the reason why they have question marks are because they are unlabeled? im sorry i still dont understand lol. but im sure what ever ur brother wrote was just his theory and i just want to hear what other people have to say. if there is a previous thread already up id appreciate it if some one could direct me to it. =]

woo i helped in the making of this theard plus i got that idea from 2 post about the ? being something with zombies spot's and then another saying they found a note under the floorboards right near one of the ? near that right door. I think one of the post was by firevice

ahaha u definitely did and ill try and see if i can find every note with the ptrs to prove that theory thanks to your encouragement. but again if someone has tried this (which i think they have) let me know so i dont waste my time!

i agree with tyler 212.
they seem to be places of vital info to be seen with the PTRS.

Double barrel room by thompson - paper under floorboards
Type 100 room by Teleporter b - walk in and look up, paper on celing
The room by Courtyard - has a manual on the shelf you can read i think
Maxxis office by quick revieve has something aswell i think?
but not sure on the one by jugga noob though.

there are more papers lying around aswell, like:
one in the mainframe under a grille,
one inside the vent by double tap(very sneaky)
and the one under the brick by the thompson.

still not got a deffinative answer yet though. just my 2 pence

Do you think this answer sounds like JD's "the answer is right in front of us"???? We see this map every time we load the game. I think that the ? are the key to unlocking this and seeing the other level which is supposed to exist.

well i think its either the question marks, or its the damn clock. it has to have a part to play.

I can't find his quote any more have you got the link to it? Man I wish Carbon or JD or someone could give us a major hint on this (another one). It's like 8 days till MW2 and from that point I can't see me playing WAW except maybe for the odd spin on Zombies!

na i havent got the quote handy. i doubt il play much anymore after the 10 of this month.lol.
nevermind treyach, got no chance of anyone finding the clues in 8 days. if we cant find it now with x amount of people looking (100,000 or whatever) then no way will it be solved with only 10,000 looking.

i think that its something bigger than just pieces of paper because the pieces are scattered all over the map it must be something really important!

Room off courtyard - nothing (people say the closed 935 book, but they're scattered everywhere in rooms without ? marks)
JuggerNog room - Sign on the wall? (Warnung... blah - all unattended kids will be sold to the circus - in german).
Dr Maxi's office - nothing (people say closed 935 book, same story =)
Double barrel shotgun room - Note in floor
Type 100 room - note on roof.

Every room has something written in it on the map.
ALl ones without, are filled with ? marks.
I think it's just Treyarch filling up the rooms, because the rooms have no specific name because they have no specific purpose. =D

I know, it's a boring answer but it fits =)

hmm i still cant buy that. for them to put question marks it has 2 be something big. also if u look not all of the question marks are put in the center of the room so they must be precisely placed.

LOL so then not all of them are dead ends. I know im not really making my own theory as 2 why the question marks are on the map i havent had a real chance to explore it, but i feel like theres something big behind it and many people who research the map always leave it out. Am i missing something?

Thats exactly what i thought when i first played der riese but then i quickly learned that was not the case. Then i thought it was the locations of the perk machines but i soon realized that was wrong as well. And now i dont know what the heck they mean.

Yeah guess so , Very odd O_o I'm new to all about this . I didn't evan know about the radios until Halloween . And all the theories.

Ah yes i can see that. Im still relatively new to this as well but let me be the first to Welcome you to this site and i insist that you go around the site and read up on what we have discovered so far so that you can be up to date and so that you can contribute your own theories and ideas!

There is still alot more to der riese than we know ^.^
