So I decided today to take a look at the Verruckt trailer and I'm sure most of you have already seen it.
Quite a few interesting things came up and I hope these haven't already been discussed. The entire trailer is basically on of the easter eggs in Shi No Numa ..... the transmission where they talk about "we need to get the doors open" ..... "we are trying to get the power on". Towards the end of the video they actually get the power on which turns on an electric barrier.
Now it has been discussed in a couple of threads that the person who turned on the switch must have lost the arm .... probably got bitten by a zombie .... or that it opened up a time portal of sorts. Well .... I think I have evidence from that video to prove that both of these assumptions are incorrect.
What I tried to do is slow down that trailer video so I could get screenshots in between where frames run quickly. Towards the end ..... two guys open the door and go to flip the switch on and here is a sequence of images I managed to capture.
The second image clearly shows that the ripped off hand is already on the switch .... even before the power is turned on. Now here is another sequence of images that actually shows the power being turned on by one of the guys.
I noticed that the guy uses his gun to flip the switch. Not sure if it is just a game design thing or if he was just wary of getting electrocuted and was playing it safe. Also notice that while the switch is being flipped the hand is still attached to it. After this little piece the video shows the electric barrier being turned on and the trailer ends soon after.
The fact that the hand was already present on the switch before it was flipped on to turn on the barrier suggests that someone had already died trying to turn it on before these guys (maybe Peter was one of the voices) got there.
interesting. didn't know the trailer would have clues

Not being mean everything sounds perfect but what if Treyarch was just to lazy to make the flipping animation,or maybe it was just too hard?
Well the flipping animation is only sort of a side note. Main thing I wanted to bring out was that the ripped off arm was already on the switch so no one go killed when they turned it on (and this is only when listening to the storage hut transmission in SNN). Someone may have been killed there before the characters even got to Verruckt.
Also the other thing it cleared out is the entire time travel thing and the hanging guy in the main room. Because the switch turned on an electric barrier it is safe to say that no time travel was involved.
