in shi no numa Richtofen's quotes are pretty off the wall but a couple caught my attention

"I do not like killing dogs." — Before the Hellhounds come
"Poor puppies, they know no better." — When Hellhounds appear.

this could be possible motive (aside from the note) that would make him want to kill Maxis, (since Maxis was testing on dogs maybe that's what pushed him to his breaking point?) if he is some psychopath that loves torture why would he be so affectionate towards dogs? but this is just my opinion

but at the same time, in Der riese he says "fluffy deserved what he got" so this is another very confusing thing

maybe he was attacked by fluffy when he tried to capture or tie her down plus technically fluffy didn't die so he didn't "kill" her but the transformation was enough to satisfy him

Edward doesn't sound like Richtofen. Besides why would Richtofen say "I wish Dr. Maxis was here to see this" when he teleports, if he killed him? They are two different people.

no no no, first off,EDWARD is not a german name. If you guys heard Edward's laugh on the radio,its different from Richtofens laugh,if he has split personality, then both of hes personality are psychopaths..why? cos Edward locked Dr. Maxis together with hes daughter. So it could be,Edward is not a Doctor,and if he is,they would have called him by hes lastname just like Richtofen and Maxis. Edward could be just an assistant or helper.

He is just giving info that he THINKS in his opinion Edward is Richtofen. You don't need to completely critize what he has to say. It may be true, it may not be true, and i think he gave pretty good info.

how do you kno he didn't start off as an assistant? there are many things that could factor into his voice change, and we don't even have any real proof he's fully german.

and im just saying maybe seeing the dogs being hurt is what pushed him over the edge

do we know richtofen first name if not it could be Dr. Edward Richtofen

I think that Edward Advar and Richtofen are two different people. I believe they both worked with Dr. Maxis at Der Riese, but Richtofen started getting nervous about his experiments and decided to leave and go to Shi No Numa where he worked on the DG-2. Edward might have gotten attacked by zombies when trying to leave Der Riese after killing Maxis and Samantha.

Actually, I have a theory. What if Maxis, Richtofen AND Edward were working on the experiments, but Richtofen couldn't take it and he went crazy, fleeing to Shi No Numa to work on the DG-2. Then, once Edward killed Samantha and Dr Maxis, he tried to go to Shi No Numa, but Richtofen was mad at him for continuing the experiments and hung him? If this is correct then the hanging man in Shi No Numa is EDWARD!

If I were Treyarch I'd make it even crazier and say that Richtofen is so Scitzo that he is infact, Maxis, Edward, Samantha, Peter, the teddy and Winston Churchill. No one would ever see that comming.

But seriously though I think it could go either way.

i like that theory but if Richtofen fled maybe that's why he killed him so there would be no other Dr to take over and he could continue the experiments by himself
